Cameras Not MatchingIf your cameras disconnect after the update, you may need to "Match Code" again. Prepare the USB DriveUse a drive with 16GB or less capacity. Format it to FAT32 on your computer. Large drives or NTFS formats often fail to be recognized by the NVR.

Before downloading any files, you must verify your current system information. Installing firmware meant for a different hardware revision can permanently disable your NVR. Navigate to the System Menu on your NVR. Select System Setup and then System Admin. Click on System Version.
Download and TransferPlace the firmware file—usually ending in .rom or .bin—directly into the root directory of the USB. Do not put it in a folder or rename the file.
