Right-click the VCDSLoader.exe in the installation folder and select Send to > Desktop (create shortcut) . Use only this shortcut to open the software. Connect and Test: Plug your VCDS cable into the PC’s USB port.

It is highly recommended to perform the initial installation and first run without an active internet connection to avoid automatic updates that might "brick" certain cables.
Run the VCDS-Release-21.9.0-Installer.exe . Follow the prompts, but do not launch the program once finished.
