Unlike many "VR experiences" that only offer small mini-games, BotW version 1.6.0 allows you to play the entire main game in VR, though cutscenes remain in a cinematic 2D view.
Beyond the flashy VR addition, version 1.6.0 secretly introduced a "Boost Mode" that significantly improved the game's performance.
